This is the first film of NTR in which he depicts a village belle, who is kidnapped by an enemy lead by Prabhakar Reddy (NTR’s brother-in-law), and falls in love with an army officer, who falls for her also. The story is very interesting with a lot of action scenes and one or two songs. This is one of the few movies where NTR plays a minor role along with a strong characterisation of a village belle. The movie was a major hit at the box office.
